The music written and performed by Lukas Rossi ranges widely from dark acoustic ballads to full-out, driving rock and roll.
But no matter the genre, his music involves the soul… touching every listener with its raw emotion. Whether fraught with poignant heartache, caring encouragement, or hopeful celebration, the lyrics brilliantly converge within the center of the listener. They touch where the individual exists within the personal struggles of life and offer a surprising, soulful comfort.
In the past 15 years, Lukas has proven himself to be a versatile artist and has performed as a solo musician as well as lead singer for three bands: Cleavage, Rise Electric, and Rock Star: Supernova.
Lukas has recently launched his new band Stars Down. The debut album, Mood Swings, is slated for release February 14, 2009.

Published by EMI Publications in Canada, Rossi is a prolific songwriter and lyricist, producing more than 60 songs in the past year as well as writing songs for other well know musicians.
Awards And Recognition
Lukas and two colleagues, Mike Fox and Gavin Brown, were winners in the International Competition, The People's Voice Awards for Songwriting 2006.
The song, DRIVE, was awarded third place honors in the Top 40/Pop category and landed Seventh Place in the overall competition.
